Abstract
In this study, the multicomponent reaction between aryl iodides, phenylacetylene, chromium hexacarbonyl and uracil or enaminone derivatives in the presence of palladium acetate as a catalyst for the one-pot synthesis of pyrido[2,3-d] pyrimidines is described.
