Abstract
Initially, a novel inorganic-organic nano-hybrid catalyst titled Si-propyl-functionalized N1,N1,N2,N2-tetramethylethane-1,2-diamine-N1,N2-diium chloride dihydrogen phosphate grafted with nano-silica (SPTCDS) was constructed, and its structure was verified by the following analyses: (i) X-ray diffraction (XRD), (ii) FT-IR, (iii) field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), (iv) thermogravimetry (TG), differential thermal gravimetric (DTG), and (v) energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). In the present study, effectual solvent-free fabrication of bis(6-amino-1,3-dimethyluracil-5-yl) methanes was accomplished using SPTCDS; in this protocol, 6-amino-1,3-dimethyluracil (2 eq.) that reacted with aryl aldehydes (1 eq.) to manufacture the uracil derivatives in satisfactory yields and reaction times.
