چکیده

The unsuitable storage conditions and the type of date pack are one of the most important problems in the palm industry. In this research, two date cultivars (Kabkab and Khasouei) at Rotab stage were selected as factorial experiment in a completely randomized design with three replications. Treatments including microalgae with the name of Chlorella vulgaris at three levels of 25, 50 and 100%, and propolis in three levels were 10, 20 and 30 percent. The traits included the amount of Total Soluble Solids, titrable acidity, pH of fruit extract, reductant sugar content, dry weight and fruit moisture content were measured at the beginning of each treatment for both cultivars and then every 30 days the weight of the above traits and the rate of decay were evaluated. Based on the results, the effect of algae and different months sampling for all traits were significant at 1% level. For different dates, titrable acidity and total weight traits had no significant difference, and reductant sugar at 5% and other traits in at one percent level was significant. Different levels of propolis and different month samplings were significant at 1% level on all traits and dry weight in different months was significant at 5%. There were no significant differences according to pH but the amount of total soluble solids, acidity, reductant sugar and dry weight at 5%, and fruit decay and total weight at 1% level were significant. In general, the effect of Chlorella vulgaris at 25% concentration was higher than that of other concentrations and treatment of 30% propolis had more positive effect on the most traits. In the case of the effect of time, the positive effects of both treatments (Chlorella vulgaris and Ethanolic extract of propolis) was stable until the second month and then its effect was decreased. In the case of Rotab cultivar, it can be said that the effects of both treatments on the Khasouei cultivar were higher.
