Abstract

Background: The globally accepted concept of sustainability examines the three economic, social and environmental dimensions. One of the existing industries that has the ability and potential to focus on these three aspects simultaneously is the oil, gas and petrochemical industry. From the economic aspect, it should be said that this industry has a significant share of Iran's national economy, and the development and stability of this industry plays an important role in the country's economic growth. Also, from the environmental point of view, it should be mentioned that in many countries, oil and gas are considered as a source of electricity supply. From the social aspect, the mentioned industry is bound to participate in social responsibility and since it interacts with many stakeholders, it must also maintain stability in its relations. Due to the extent and diversity of these developments, companies are facing uncertain conditions and challenges in order to maintain and grow their stable position. In this situation, leadership with the relevant style, i.e. transformational style, is a solution that can help the company to achieve its sustainable goals. Aim: The purpose of this research is to provide a model of sustainable transformational leadership, identify dimensions of sustainable transformational leadership, identify indicators of sustainable transformational leadership, prioritize dimensions of sustainable transformational leadership, prioritize indicators of sustainable transformational leadership, identify relationships between dimensions and indicators of sustainable transformational leadership. Methodology: The current research has an interpretive paradigm, an inductive approach, a descriptive purpose, a mixed nature of qualitative-quantitative type, and a developmental and applied orientation, and it is classified as library and field research.
