Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parent authority and family ties with attachment style of high school students.
Method: The statistical population includes all female students in vocational schools and secondary schools of Ahram city (Bushehr) who study in the school year of 93-92. The population of the population is 2,000, of which 200 were selected as sample size and systematic sampling. The research tools were Parental authority questionnaire, parents' and peers attachment scale, and parent parental relationship questionnaire.
Results: The results of the research indicate that there is a significant relationship between parent parental authority and family ties with attachment style. In the meantime, the share of parental authority is greater than the attachment style of family ties.
Conclusion: Attachment to parents is the most prominent aspect of attachment in parenting authority.
