The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between gender and educational level with matrimonial criteria. For this purpose 300 Students from dormitories at Bushehr University of Persian Gulf were selected by random sampling method. For Measurement of matrimonial criteria was used in the Welfare Women's Compliance Scale (2008). the results showed that There is a meaningful relationship between gender with the criteria for marriage. Women are important for procedural and content criteria More than men. The results also showed that undergraduate students compared to senior and doctoral students One of the matrimonial criteria earned higher grades and a significant difference in other criteria of marriage in sections wasn't seen.
