Stylistics is a branch of literary studies which has nowadays a great importance in analysis and survey of literary texts . One of the most workable stylistic method is layer stylistic . It is used in analysis of literary works . In layer stylistic a text can be analized concerning five layers : intonation layer , vocabularical layer , grammer layer , semantic layer , and ideologic layer . layer stylistic in these modern times is one of the most useful styles for stylistic analisis of texts especially regarding to poems and stories. Ali salehi is a writer of bushehr which has a few short stories concerning holy defense . But we cant see his name among the writers of holy defense . This survey is going to dead with clear and unclear aspects of ideas and point of view of this writer in connection to his war short stories . These works are "The dance on the blade of blood“ (raqs bar labe khoon) , "The evening of ghosts” (shaam arvaah) from collected story "The gypsy in love” (kowli aasheq) , "The wind is our messenger” (baad qaased mast) from collected story "The blots of mud” (lakkehaaye gel) , "The thirst guard watch” (paase atash) and "message” (peighaam) from collected story "The thirst guard watch” (paase atash) . In regard to the qualities of these works and the goals of this research which is concerned about holy defense , this survey has been done lexically , grammatically , and semantically . This study says us that salehi has lexically written his stories as clearly as possible . In spite of the fact that his stories are typically war stories but there aren’t any obvious ideologic tendency . The grammatic manner of these stories is mostly active and it tries to stand far away of revolutionary and heroic language .
