One of the important issues related to the Safavid government, which has been less of interest to the researchers, is the issue of the army and its developments. The army at the beginning of the Safavid period consisted of tribal forces with overwhelming Shiite beliefs that played a major role in the establishment and consolidation of the Safavid government. But the problems caused by the tribal rivalry of Qizilbashan, the dependence of these forces on the tribal structure and the riots caused by these rivalries and the heavy defeats of the Safavid army from the Ottoman Army imposed on Shah Abbas the transformation of this army. This research is an attempt to examine the context of this development, how the developments of the Safavid Army during the Shah Abbas era, the consequences of these developments, as well as the role of the army in the fall of the Safavid regime. The basic question of this research is, what areas has changed in the Safavid Army? The ineffectiveness of the Safavid Army forces and the difficulties caused by the internal rivalry of the army imposed a change on the Safavids and had significant positive and positive consequences.
