In this survey the effect of shape and position of voids in magnetization reversal of a Permalloy magnetic nanodot has been investigated. The magnetization reversal depends strongly on creation, pinning, depinning and annihilation of vortex state. These features can be understood by considering the competition between exchange energy and magnetostatic energy stems from demagnetization field. The total demagnetization energy of the system depends significantly on position of the triangle void in comparison with the circular void.
