In this research work, nanostructured alloy Co57Fe13Nb8Ta4B18 is produced by mechanical alloying process. The
structural and magnetic properties are investigated by using X- ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy
and vibrating sample magnetometry. It is shown, with increasing milling time, niobium and tantalum solubility
in cobalt lattice increase, leading to decrease of crystallite sizes. After 160 h milling time, the crystallite size
and strain reach to value about 5.6 nm and %1.64 respectively. Moreover, saturation magnetization reaches to
its maximum value at 160 h milling time. At the end of milling time, magnetic coercivity achieves a remarkable
increase as compared to the unmilled powder
