In the present thesis, we will try to simulate the fission of the excited nucleus 241Cm produced in ? 239Pu fusion reaction in the framework of the statistical model. For this purpose, we want to calculate fission barrier.
To obtain the shell effects, we will estimate the fission barrier in the Liquid Drop Model and Double-Humped fission barrier. we will use the Fermi-Gas Model To calculate the level density.
Finally, by calculation the light particles evaporation width, gamma-ray emission and the fission width and using the Monte Carlo method and writing computer program, we will try to estimate the fission probability and the entrance probability to isomeric states for the nucleus 241Cm. we will estimate the nuclear matter viscosity parameter for the nucleus Cm by fitting the calculated data to the experimental data of the fission probability and entrance probability to isomeric states for 241Cm,
We show that the proper amount of viscosity parameter for the nucleus Cm is equal
