چکیده

Persian gulf waterway has been the center of international trades and exchanges since a long time. By the beginning of the 15th century, due to western powers presence,it became the invasion and competition arena. Since the discovery of oil in south and southwest of Iran by one of British citizens, persian gulf became so important and prioritized for this western power. After 1907 plan , to replace oil with coal in British navy this black material became a strategic material and need forBritish government . One of the main challenges of utilizing Iranian oil resources central government’s weakness and lack of control over local powers and …….. which were located in the vicinity of Anglo-Iranian oil company in south. So, the UK government established ties with Khans of Hayaat-davood , bakhtiaries and baani kaab to overcome this challenge. The aim of this research is to survey actions and activities of Anglo-Iranian oil company in the realm of Hayaat-davood and alsosurvey and explanation of policy of this government toward leaders of this tribe in the end of Qajaar dynasty and during Pahlavi rule. This research surveys and analyses these ties and policies with Hayaat-davood Khans by descriptive- analyctic method and based on documents. According to the findings of this research the activities of this company in this area brought economical and political benefits for its controllers in Pahlavi dynasty and those benefits were in contradiction with policies of that government , so after a couple of years, finally, it caused their elimination from power.
