Since secondary plant compounds such as phenolic terpenoids have degraded the quality of DNA, it is difficult to extract high-quality DNA from plants, and selecting a suitable method for maintaining and maintaining the genome extracted DNA is of particular importance. Therefore, in many cases the extraction of genetic material is subject to limitations. Therefore, by changing the composition of the extraction buffer, it has been able to improve the quality and quantity of extracted DNA. The purpose of this research is to compare the three different methods used to extract genomic DNA. The results showed that the best method for quantitative and qualitative DNA extraction was Thomson and Murray methods with a few changes. Another advantage of this method is the use of PVP to remove polyphenols in order to improve the quality of the PCR product for AFLP.
