Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of public awareness and information on the social acceptance of Bushehr nuclear power plant with the aim of determining the current level of acceptance of this industrial unit and providing possible solutions to improve the level of social acceptance of the power plant with 412 samples from the studied community in The 30-kilometer boundary of Bushehr nuclear power plant was investigated, including: Bushehr city and surrounding cities. In the research methodology, by collecting the required data through expert and public questionnaires with stratified random sampling method and data processing and modeling with survey-dynamic approach. became. The results of this research showed that the variables of nuclear culture and the understanding of the benefits of the nuclear power plant industry are strengthened under the influence of advertising and awareness variables in the society. Variables such as the understanding of the common benefits between the nuclear power plant and the society and the government's responsibility will also be strengthened through gaining trust and attention to the social responsibility area of the organization. But focusing on advertising and awareness can increase the level of public expectations in the field of social responsibility of the government and organization, and failure to address it at the same time will intensify dissatisfaction and social rejection. In this regard, the importance and quality of two-way communication between the society and the nuclear industry was evaluated using the WOM method, and the results showed that by adopting the necessary measures, positive views were strengthened and negative views were reduced. In connection with the Bushehr nuclear power plant, the society will play a decisive role in improving the level of social acceptance of the power plant.
