Abstract

Kazhal Farkhondehnezhad The change like travelling in the world and its formation in a new format called the tourism industry caused nations and governments to pay attention to this new and powerful phenomenon. The Pahlavi government also started planning in this field according to the capabilities and facilities that Iran had in the geographical, cultural and historical fields. The Persian Gulf region, especially Bushehr province, which was one of the borders for travellers to enter the country, drew the attention of the government at this time, and they started to establish infrastructures and services in this region that were significant and needed for the comfort and well-being of travellers. The government of the time for the construction and development of Bushehr province in various fields, particularly in the field of the tourism industry, carried out numerous actions such as accommodation, welfare and entertainment centers, which culminated in some invaluable changes. The goals of this research are to investigate how to create a tourism industry in the northern regions of the Persian Gulf, the development process of the tourism industry and its related institutions in Bushehr province, and to investigate the tourism industry in the economic and social prosperity of this province. This research will address this question with a descriptive-analytical method and using library and documentary techniques; What is the position of the tourism industry in the current province of Bushehr and what effects did it have on the economic and social prosperity of this region during the Pahlavi period? The results show that Bushehr province, which had commercial prosperity before the Pahlavi government came to power, lost its prosperity and wealth and start to decline after Reza Shah came to power due to his initial orders and economic policies.
