Abstract

Background: In research works, indirect intervention methods are very effective, especially for children, that can have satisfactory results. Among them, are 3D puzzles (lego) and painting that we have used in our research. And we have tried to affect the three subfields of children's cognitive processes, namely visual-spatial intelligence, executive functions and visual memory, which are gradually formed in childhood, through these two intervention methods. Aim: The aim of this research was to compare the effects of 3D puzzles and painting on visual-spatial intelligence, visual memory and executive functions of preschool children. Methodology: Population of this study was, all the children in preschool age in ahram city, and sample of the study were 70 available children. And the reason of this chiose was the condition corona virous. Research method was, semi- experimental. Conclusions: At the end of the research, we concluded that, 3D puzzles and painting can improve executive functions and visual memory of children but, they can not improve visual-spatial intelligence in 17 sessions.
