چکیده	The phenomenin of Eelicitation of Tradition is one of the most prominent skills by which poets employ to enrich their poetry. Using this tradition in poetry engenders a profound effect on the reader's feeling. Shakir Altamimi, contemporary Iraqi poet, in regard to the tradition effect on the poetry concepts and its implications, turned to the tradition invitation, applying it with a special care and artistic skill, enjoying many traditional foundations like religious, literary, historical and folkloric. In this research, we intend to study them. This article begins with a theoretical introduction then continue to defines the heritage and motives for its use and its reflects on the poetry. Finally, we examine the poet's inspiration for traditional, intertextual terms with the Qur'an, religious and historical figures.
