Abstract

Background: One of the effects of resistance training and the consumption of protein supplements is the increase in the production of protein in the body, including muscle tissue proteins, which ultimately increases the volume of muscle cells and, as a result, more muscle strength. One of the hypertrophy pathways is the mTOR signaling pathway, which is activated by resistance training, and the activation of mTOR in the kidney can cause kidney diseases or the progression of these diseases. Therefore, the aim of this research is to investigate the effect of changes in TSC2(RAGs) / mTOR / 4E-BPs gene pathway in kidney tissue of male rats after a period of resistance training and consumption of Spirulina Plantensis supplement. Methodology:The present research is in the form of an experimental design and the statistical sample of this research was taken from male Sprague-Dawley rats.32 male rats aged 3 months with an average weight of 20±150 grams were prepared and during the research period, each rat was kept in a separate cage made of transparent polycarbonate in an environment with a temperature of 22±2 degrees Celsius, humidity of 55±4% and lighting cycle. They were kept in the dark for 12:12 hours. After the familiarization phase, the rats were randomly divided into four groups: control, resistance exercise, spirulina supplement, and spirulina supplement exercise. Supplementation groups consumed 200 mg / kg / day of spirulina every day. The resistance training protocol was climbing a ladder with a height of one meter during eight weeks, 3 days a week and one session a day. 24 hours after the last training session, the rats were dissected and the kidney tissue was separated and kept at -70 temperature, and the expression of the dependent variables of the research was measured using the REAL TIME_PCR method. In order to analyze the data at a significance level of 0.05, two-way analysis of variance and Tukey's post hoc test were used. Findings: In the factor 4E_PBs, th
