Aim: The purpose of the present study was to measure the effectiveness of eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy of anxiety Speech and academic self-efficacy in students with social anxiety. Methods: The research method was semi-experimental with pre-test and post-test design with control group. A sample of 30 students were selected for diagnosis of social anxiety disorder that were selected from among 60 suspected students with disorder in the Persian Gulf University. They were equally assigned to two groups treated with E.M.D.R. and the waiting list group. To collect data, academic self-efficacy, anxiety Speech and social anxiety were used. Results: The analysis of covariance showed that there is a significant difference between the mean post test scores of the experimental and control groups. So that eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy have increased academic self-efficacy and decreased speech anxiety. Conclusion: The use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy the anxiety Speech and academic self-efficacy and of students with social anxiety is effective.
