In order to determine the appropriate replacement for Coco peat, which is imported with high costs to Iran. The trial was conducted using waste palm trees in the green house College of Agriculture and Natural Resources Persian Gulf University. This experiment was carried in a completely randomized design with 15 treatments and 3 replications. The results showed that compounds in coco peat and perlite were used alone or in combination had the best effect on tomato yield. So that in cultivars of the Rio Grande and Pinocchio, use coco peat and perlite in 50:50 ratio had the greatest positive effect on yield. Such a case, were observed in both cultivar on measured characteristics vegetative.
