Background: Today, the world has come to the conclusion that education plays a very important role in shaping the future of the world, and teachers, who are the key pillars of this organization, bear the main burden. But according to research, these loved ones do not have enough empathy and enthusiasm in their work and are not proud of it; This can weaken their job performance. In this regard, one of the proposed solutions is the use of occupational job crafting, which is discussed in this research. job crafting is a bottom-up job design that can improve teachers' social capital, work engagement, and job performance.
Aim: The purpose of this research is to measure the effect of job crafting on teachers' job performance through the mediation of social capital and work engagement.
Methodology: The current research in terms of paradigm, positivism, in terms of purpose, practical, in terms of the method of data collection, it is a descriptive type and the research strategy is a survey. The statistical population of this research was 69 non-profit high schools in two districts of Shiraz, and the data was collected using the sample size formula in a limited population, from 62 high schools and 218 teachers and on average, between 3 and 5 people participated from each high school. In addition, the sampling method in this research was based on non-probability sampling and available samples. The data collection tool was a five-point Likert scale. The validity of the questionnaire was checked in terms of content and structure, and reliability was also calculated by calculating Cronbach's alpha coefficient (0.927). In addition, the data were analyzed using SPSS and Smart PLS statistical software.
Conclusions: The data analysis showed that job crafting has a positive and significant effect on job performance; job crafting has a positive and significant effect on social capital; job crafting has a positive and meaningful effect on work engagement; job crafting with the mediation
