Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of strategic thinking and strategic rethinking on organizational performance with the mediating role of organizational innovation. The current research is based on the purpose of an applied research and based on the quantitative approach and the nature of the descriptive research of the survey type. The method of data collection in this research was library and field type. The sampling method of this research is available. The data collection tool in this research was a standard questionnaire. Standard questionnaire (Arabich, 2022), strategic thinking (Irshadi, 2019), strategic rethinking (Afrin, 2021) and organizational innovation (Azeem, 2021) have been used to examine the variable of organizational performance. Cronbach's alpha coefficient has been used to check its reliability. The statistical population of this research is all the government organizations of Bushehr, numbering 280 organizations. According to Morgan's table, the number of samples will be equal to 162 organizations. To analyze the data, the method of structural equation modeling was used with the help of spss, PLS software. The results of the hypothesis test showed that strategic thinking and strategic rethinking have an effect on organizational performance and organizational innovation. Also, the mediating role of organizational innovation was also confirmed.
