One of the important aspects of the history studies is the study of the issues of the sea and navigation. In Iranian history, the issue of maritime history is also important in the history of the Persian Gulf, Mazandaran, and Oman, and culminates in periods such as the Achaemenid period of wider territory. The following is an analysis of the Achaemenid actions at sea and sailing that have been done analytically and descriptively. The question of this research was, what policies and programs did the Achaemenians follow in the maritime domain? With the establishment of the Achaemenid Empire and the development of the Imperial Empire and its connection with the sailing nations such as the Phoenicians and Egyptians, as well as with the Mediterranean Sea, the focus was on the sea and navigation. At first they used the experiences and facilities of the subordinate nations, but by navigating the wars in the Aegean and the Mediterranean they were able to dominate the seas and build a naval fleet. Of course, in addition to conquering the Mediterranean and the Aegean, the construction of the Nile Trout dug the way for communication between Egypt and India through the Persian Gulf. And this has also led them to dominate the Persian Gulf and create economic prosperity and new discoveries in this important region.
