Background: The purpose of this research is to identify the indicators of the Third Generation University (Entrepreneur) in the Persian Gulf University based on Gibbs model (2012).
Aim: The research method is descriptive and survey. The sampling of the current investigation includes of a mixture of managers, staffs and university professors almost containing 243 faculty members and managers and 128 expert staffs. Out of this sample by means of a convenience sampling a group of this sample was hired to participate in the current study. Gibbs standard questionnaire (2012) was used for data collection and SPSS software was used for data analysis Methodology: The findings indicate that university vision, mission and strategy indicators; university governance; university organizational structure and design; multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary; stakeholder management and community values; Graduates; Knowledge Transfer; Center for Risk Growth and Financing in Companies Derived from University; Internationalization and Entrepreneurship Training and Investment Training at Gulf University were in unfavourable condition.
Conclusions: The results indicate that the general status of Entrepreneur University indicators based on Gibbs model in Persian Gulf University is is in poor condition. Based on the views of managers, professors, and staff of the Persian Gulf University in Bushehr, it can be concluded that entrepreneurial university characteristics include: vision, mission and strategy of the university; governance and management; university structure and design; multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary; Stakeholder Management and Community Values; Graduates; Knowledge Transfer; Growth Center; Risk Financing in All University Derivatives; Internationalization; and finally Entrepreneurial Education and Investment Education. They are all in a bad state. Among the characteristics of Entrepreneur University, stakeholder management index and community values have the most impact
