چکیده	This study was conducted to evalute the effectiveness of enriched diet with astaxanthin alone or in combination with taurine on some physiological Indices of rozy barb. For this study, 180 rozy barb fishes (average weight 0/032 ± 0/007 g and length 12/83 ± 1/82 mm) were randomly separated in five different treatments including control treatment (basic diet), astaxanthin treatment (diet enriched with 100 mg / kg astaxanthin) and astaxanthin-taurine treatment (diet enriched with 100 mg / kg astaxanthin and 100 mg / kg taurine) and astaxanthin-taurine treatment (diet enriched with 100 mg / kg astaxanthin and 250 mg / kg taurine) and astaxanthin-taurine treatment (diet enriched with 100 mg / kg astaxanthin and 500 mg / kg taurine) fed for 60 days. The results showed that fishes fed with of taurine diet had the best main growth parameters in comparison to the other treatments (p <0.05). The results Digital colorimetric showed that the effects produced of astaxanthin-taurine 250 the highest body color intensity in fishes for 60 days. The results Biochemical colorimetric showed that astaxanthin-taurine 250 treatment significantly in comparison to the other treatments retained more pigment in fishes skin (p <0.05). Triglyceride and total carcass fat showed a significant difference between control and astaxanthin-taurine 250 treatment and astaxanthin-taurine 500 treatment (p <0.05). Cholesterol and LDL were significantly different between control treatment and astaxanthin-taurine 250 treatment (p <0.05). HDL level showed were significant difference between the control treatment and the three treatment astaxanthin and taurine 100 and taurine 250 (P <0.05). Total Protein level in astaxanthin-taurine 100 treatment was significantly higher than control treatment (P <0.05). Survival rate was same between all treatments and have not significant difference (P> 0.05). The results of the study showed that amino acid taurine supplementation could improve growth indices in the rozy bar
