The crises emerged after the occupation of America resulted in a documentary environment that contains the elegies of the educated human being and addresses the pains and sufferings, which have affected the life of the Iraqi individual, especially the intellectual. The Iraqi novelist, Saad Mohammed Rahim, has noticed to these problems, so he monitored the phenomenon of Loneliness? among them. Therefore, He has given great importance to this phenomenon in intellectual characters of his novels.
The research uses a descriptive-analytic approach to identify the characters and their presentation methods, aiming at revealing the phenomena of Loneliness? and its various ?manifestations, and focusing on the spatial type in the main characters in three novels of Saad: ??“ Tarnemt Imraa'ah .. shafaq albahr (Hymn of a Woman)”, “Twilight of sea”?,? “Maqtal b?i‘a al-kutob (Bookseller Killed)” (2016), and “ foshah lel junoun (The space for ?Madness)” (2018).?
The novelist intentionally chooses educated characters as they are conscious evident for Iraq's past and present; he has thus presented them problematic, alienated, tired of illusions, and representative of an entire generation. In both periods, the intellectual faced a series of defeats at the social, cultural and political levels, forcing him either to move between hostile places or to step aside and chooses lonelines; and consequently he did not get anything except the failure to search for the ego and loss of his compass.
