چکیده
|
At two recent ten years, deuterium (crystal) thin films have been used for muonic x-ray spectroscopy.
The muonic atom abundance has an important role in the production rate of muonic molecule as well
as in x-ray yield. Considering muonic atom escape, the abundances of µd atom and µdd molecule in
two layered solid crystal of ortho and normal deuterium have been calculated. The results show that
the ortho(para) molecular state has no considerable effect on µd atom population. However, the
maximum population of muonic molecules is relatively larger in the normal deuterium crystal. The
reason of this difference is probably due to the forbidden rotational transition K=1?K=0 which has
an important role in slowing-down of muonic atoms up to 10 mev.
