چکیده
|
The aim of this study is to investigate some aspects of the status of reasoning and proof in Iranian seventh-grade mathematics textbooks. A content analysis methodology has been used. We classified the units of analysis according to “the modes of reasoning”. A significant class of deductions was indicated, which are absent in Stacey and Vincent's categories (2009).
