The school of romanticism is a literary stream, a thought that emerged in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries as a result of the political and social changes that took place in the European community. These changes gradually came to the Arab world, and in the early twentieth century, the movement also came to the Arabic literature. Romanticism is one of the most important literary schools that rejected the principles of classics and opened a new horizons for literature and art in the world because romanticism is not just a literary school but a global movement. The themes of romanticism are found in the poems of many poets in different countries of the world, and the author of this study has tried to examine through the analysis and poetry of the poetry of Kuwait Fahad al-Askar and explain the extent of using this poet from the school of romanticism. He is a poet whose poetry expresses feelings and emotions, although the share of grief and grief is more pain and suffering. The most important question raised is which of the components of romanticism is found in Fahad al-Askar's poetry? In the present research, our aim is to study topics and themes that have been influenced by them and reflect those features in their poems. By reviewing his poems, we are going to clarify the political and social conditions of the poet's time and the issues imposed on his poetry, the conditions that have influenced and altered the poet's intellectual space. This thesis is written in a preface and three chapters. First, we discussed romanticism in Europe and the Arab world, then we talked about the political and social situation of the Kuwaiti community during the period of the poetry, and we cited the life of Fahd al-Askar, and in the chapter Finally, we examine the themes of individual and social romanticism in Fahd al-Asker's poems.
