developmental assets, consists of connections, opportunities, values and skills that increase adolescence’s achievement at school result in reduction of risky behaviors and play a protective supportive role for psychological health. The current study aims to review mediating role of psychological capital in relationship between developmental assets and educational achievements. This study was performed by correlation and using structural equation. For this purpose, 784 (junior and senior high-school) students of Bushehr and Hamedan (421 boys and 363 girls) are selected by cluster sampling method and they responded to Developmental Assets Scale of Benson (1998) and Psychological Capital Scale of Luthans (2007). Data analysis was performed by correlation coefficient path analysis using structural equation.The results showed that in the modified model, routs from psychological capital to developmental assets were significant Also, paths of psychological capital to academic achievement were significant.The results of structural equation modeling suggest fitting of assumed research model.With regard to findings it can be said that psychological capital has mediating role in the relationship between developmental assets and educational achievements. Accordingly with regard to such variables as the role of developmental assets and increase of psychological capital, the rate of students' educational achievement can be increased.
