Evaluation of the pavements which are operating using non-destructive falling weight deflectometer test is one of the most necessary components of management system in the majority of countries. Evaluation of the mechanical properties of the pavement to estimate the residual pavement life and also proper and apropos maintenance process of pavement have been always gained the attention of pavement engineering. Estimation the structural conditions of pavement using the FWD test with backcalculation is widely done. Most of the backcalculations are performed using the artificial intelligence, which requires the artificial data which have produced before to establish search space. Consequently, the number of repetition and calculation time increase. Due to this reason, the vast number of researchers apply the traditional software like Abaqus and Ansys to simulate pavements. In this study, with combination the differential Quadrature numerical method and evolutionary optimization algorithms, an applicable and impressive model is proposed to estimate the mechanical properties of pavement. This method is able to decrease the calculation time of the backcalculation efficiently. In the present model, in order to improve the backcalculation approach, several algorithms are applied including: PSO, DE, ICA, HS, FA and TLBO.
