The aim of this study was to investigate the type and Rate of plant growth regulators on lime
proliferation and callus induction. Therefore, young shoot tip culture after the sterilization were placed
in culture media prepared. Culture medium containing growth regulators BA with concentrations of
5.0, 1 and 2 mg per liter and NAA with concentrations of 0, 5.0 and 1 mg per liter were prepared. after
5 weeks, results showed the highest number of buds proliferation of buds cultivated mexican lime in a
medium containing 1 mg per liter BA, without NAA was obtained. The highest callus induction of
using MS medium containing 5.0 milligrams per liter (NAA) along with two concentrations of 1 and 2
mg per liter BA was obtained
